The club would like to extend our congratulations to St Marys Senior Camogie team who won the senior A league against a very strong Urseline Convent team from Thurles in the Ragg on Sunday. The final score was 3-10 to 1-5 with Nenagh down a point at half time they dug deep in a very physical game and held the opposition scoreless in the second half. Nenagh Eire Og were well represented by Ciara McGrath Mary Dillon Gemma Morris and Aileen Duggan. Special thanks must go to the “bannisteoir” Gerry Dullea who has led many teams to many successes in the past and is personally responsible for the nurturing of Camogie in North Tipperary over the last decade or so. With Camogie and Hurling so strong in our schools we must remember the extra time and effort being put in by our school teachers.
